Light heavyweights looking to bounce back into contendership will now compete in the main event of UFC 161, as Rashad Evans and Dan Henderson have replaced Renan Barao and Eddie Wineland. Barao and Wineland were expected to meet for the interim UFC bantamweight title. Barao, though, suffered a foot injury in training and has been forced to remove himself from the June 15 pay-per-view in Winnipeg.
Evans (17-3-1) is a former UFC light heavyweight champion, but has lost his last two fights.Henderson (29-9) had his four-fight win streak snapped earlier this year by Lyoto Machida.
The main card also includes Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, Todd Duffee vs. Shawn Jordan and Alexis Davis vs. Rosi Sexton. It remains unknown if Wineland will still compete or wait for his title fight.
