UFC president Dana White made the call years ago that Paul Daley would never compete inside the Octagon. Daley was fine being employed by Bellator, up until last week when he was released.Daley reached out to White via Facebook about a potential return.
"Given the opportunity Dana, I would be right back in there, please just send me that contract."
In his only Bellator outing, Daley left the victor. He's been fighting in Europe as he's had trouble obtaining a visa to enter the United States.
White released Daley right after UFC 113. Daley took a decision loss and sucker punched Josh Koscheck at UFC 113, long after the bell rang.
At the UFC on FOX 8 media scrum, White didn't seem overly interested in Daley returning.
