Dan Miller vs. Jordan Mein
Welterweights hit the Octagon next, as Dan Miller (14-6) takes on former Strikeforce fighter and Canada's own Jordan Mein (26-8). Mein is on a two-fight win streak that includes a 8-1 record in his last nine. Marc-Andre Cote will be the referee in charge.
Round 1: Mein doesn't appear to have any jitters, as he is going right after Miller. However, Miller slips out and gets a takedown, with Mein getting into butterfly guard. Miller switches into an armbar that looked nasty for a brief second, as his arm appeared to be snapped the wrong way. Mein, though, defends and gets out and up. What a crazy exchange and the crowd loves it. Miller with a solid right, and a kick to the lead leg. Mein's right elbow, which Miller had locked up, is bright pink. Not sure if there is anything wrong with it or not. Mein catches Miller coming in and drops him. Another big right hand glances off the face of Miller. Quick pair of left jabs to the nose connect and Miller is busted open. Mein pounces and is unloading, looking to finish with just seconds left. Several big lefts and this one is over, as Mein finishes Miller for the first time in his career.
