As noted earlier, TNA President Dixie Carter met with TNA talent before last Thursday's episode of Impact Wrestling in Louisville, KY. Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net reports that Jeff Jarrett, TNA CFO/COO Dean Broadhead and executive vice president Andy Barton were present at the meeting.
Carter told talent that one of the reasons for the restructuring was because of the high cost of taping the One Night Only pay-per-view specials in March at the Impact Zone. She also did not rule out more cuts, but said that the changes would help the company long term.
The report also noted that long-time WWE producer "Big" John Gaburick, who joined TNA last month as the new Executive Vice President of Television Production, received strong praise from the talent.
