TNA's Indian broadcaster Sony SIX is running promos of the TNA One Night Only: World Cup of Wrestling PPV which will air in India on December 8, 2013. The One Night Only: World Cup of Wrestling PPV is scheduled to air in the US on February 7, 2014 which would mean that the PPV will air in India two months before it airs in the US.
Pooja (@Pooja0903), the marketing manager at Sony Six, the network on which TNA airs in India, sent out the following update on her Twitter about the TNA Superstars' tour of India:
"1 week to go TNA stars to visit India .... Watch this space for more @SonySIX> Details to follow shortly !"
By the looks of things, TNA will be sending some of their superstars to promote TNA in India.
In 2005, TNA had sent Sonjay Dutt, Simon Diamond and Shark Boy on a tour of India. TNA then sent Kurt Angle, Mick Foley and Jay Lethal on a three-city tour to promote TNA in India in 2010. In 2012, TNA sent multiple wrestlers and creative talents to produce Ring Ka King, a wrestling show specifically developed for the Indian market.
