Former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos is looking at the list of possible names for whom he might be challenging next, when he stumbled across Fabricio Werdum."I think Werdum is one of the best heavyweights in the UFC," said Santos to TATAME. "He's a good fighter, has some of the best jiu-jitsu and is a good person."
Werdum is currently booked to fight Antônio "Big Nog" Nogueira in June. With those two already slated to meet, Santos believes he'll fight someone else. He has no preference and said he doesn't ask for opponents, just takes whoever the UFC gives him.
Santos lost his championship to Cain Velasquez, the very person he defeated for the title, at the end of last year. Velasquez easily won on all three judges' scorecards.
There has been no information for who Santos will meet when he returns inside the Octagon.
