Former Heavyweight Champion Dead At Age 44

Former Heavyweight boxing champion Tommy Morrison has lost his battle with HIV, and is dead at the age of 44 according to reports. Tulsa World is reporting that his former promoter Tony Holden,  has confirmed his passing. “It’s true,” said Holden, who resides in Tulsa. “He was with his wife Trisha when he passed.” The cause of death has not been reported by any member of Morrison’s family at this time. Reports are that Morrison’s cause of death was “respiratory and metabolic acidosis and multiple organ failure.” Morrison gained fame for defeating George Foreman, and starring in Rocky V.
