Round 1: Five-inch reach advantage for Krause, and he is looking to use that off the bat. Round kick just misses by Krause and Stout ties him up. Stout using dirty boxing, which is eliminating the reach edge for Krause. The jab is working for Krause, who is popping it off. Knee drops Stout and Krause pounces, landing more shots to the body. Smile from Stout as he is in butterfly guard with blood dripping from his forehead. Cartwheel kick attempt by Krause to end the round.

Krause shoots and scores with a takedown, taking the back quickly then moving into the guard. Blood pouring down face of Stout again with 90 seconds left in this round. It appears to be missing his eye, though, for the most part, so we should have no issues in terms of it stopping the fight. Stout concludes the round with a takedown of his own.

Stout having a difficult time avoiding anything thrown by Krause, who mixes and moves fluidly. Krause is up plus-68 in head strikes landed, and Stout's face looks like it. Just over a minute to go, and Stout's eye is looking very swollen. Stout powers through a takedown, but Krause is able to secure an arm-in-guillotine and secure the choke with just seconds left.
