Round 1: Dan Miragliota is the third man in for this one. Both guys throw body kicks early. Dos Anjos lands a left hand flush on the face. Cerrone grabs a Muay Thai clinch and lands a knee, then catches Dos Anjos' right leg on a body kick attempt. Dos Anjos drops Cerrone with a big right hook. Cerrone get back to his feet. Cerrone pulls guard and nearly cinches a tight triangle, but Dos Anjos squirms out. The sequence ends with Dos Anjos in Cerrone's guard. Cerrone still working for subs, but Dos Anjos tries to move to side control. Dos Anjos ends ip in Cerrone's guard again and lands a couple short elbows. Strong finish for Dos Anjos.
Round 2: Dos Anjos is active in the opening minute, mixing up his kicks and throwing and mainly missing on big bombs. Dos Anjos with a straight right and a knee which just misses a full connect. Cerrone with a single and the takedown. He's in half-guard and Dos Anjos has a half-assed guillotine. Cerrone pops out and now Cerrone is going for a guillotine. He lets go and they're back to their feet. Two minutes left. Dos Anjos goes for a takedown and doesn't get it. Dos Anjos goes for a takedown. Cerrone sprawls the first attempt, but Dos Anjos sticks with it and lands it. Cerrone tries to work a triangle from the bottom.
Round 3: Cerrone lands a big leg kick, and Dos Anjos responds with a head kick. Cerrone with a two-punch combo and he flicks a body kick. Dos Anjos' output has slowed over the first two minutes. Dos Anjos goes for a double, briefly gets Cerrone to his knees, but Cerrone ultimately defenses it. Back to center Octagon with two minutes left. Cerrone with a head kick. Dos Anjos is cut open under his left eye. Cerrone presses forward in the final minute. Dos Anjos pops Cerrone with a right in the closing seconds.
