Juan Pablo Montoya visited Furniture Row Racing Tuesday and talked to team officials about driving its No. 78 car next season, FoxSports.com reported.
Furniture Row General Manager Joe Garone told Fox Sports that Montoya visited the team’s shop in Denver and remains on its short list to replace Kurt Busch next season.
Montoya was recently told that he will not return to Earnhardt Ganassi Racing next year and the team already has announced that young driver Kyle Larson will replace him.
