Martin Truex Jr., who has competed in 205 races since his most recent victory, led the final Sprint Cup Series practice Saturday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Truex turned a lap of 188.383 mph around the 1.5-mile track to pace the final 55-minute practice session.

While drivers got 6.5 hours of testing Thursday, they had none Friday as rain washed out all track activity. Some teams changed cars since the Thursday test, and Saturday's two sessions — the first one 60 minutes, the second 55 minutes — was their only preparation time for Sunday's Kobalt Tools 400.

Following Michael Waltrip Racing's Truex on the speed chart for the final practice were Carl EdwardsKyle BuschJimmie Johnson and Mark Martin.
