Michael Waltrip would like to have Brian Vickers as his full-time driver in the No. 55 Sprint Cup car in 2014.
Now all he needs is a sponsor and he hopes that current sponsor Aaron’s will fill that role.

And he hopes he doesn’t have to worry about it a whole lot more.
“We've targeted Brian Vickers as the guy that we want to drive our car,” Waltrip said Saturday at Talladega Superspeedway. “We think that Brian is a future champion of the Cup Series so we want Brian to drive it and we want Aaron's to sponsor it.
“That's the news and that's where it's at. I think both Aaron's and Brian are very into making that happen. It would just be a matter of getting the details worked out in order to be able to announce it soon.”
Mark Martin is driving the No. 55 car in 26 events this year with Aaron’s sponsorship. Waltrip has three races with Aaron’s and Vickers has nine with other sponsors.
The 29-year-old Vickers, who is driving full time for Joe Gibbs Racing in the Nationwide Series this year and has Cup experience with Hendrick Motorsports and Red Bull Racing, has 268 career Cup starts with two victories.
