The Uso Brothers defeated Fandango and Big E Langston in 12:37.
Good match. Langston works well as the big man side of a tag team, and having him help Fandango in this match made for a fun dynamic. Fandango's act has lost its original luster, but the man can still get a reaction out of a crowd with his antics.
Big Show defeated Damien Sandow in 3:38
That match really didn't need to happen. The losses hurt Sandow, the match was lackluster, and Show is overexposed enough as it is with his recent story focus on Raw.
Curtis Axel defeated Justin Gabriel in 14:55
That match was ok, but it never really seemed to click. Both men are suffering in the charisma department, and it made for a match that had some solid spots, but failed to tell a story that gave those spots any meaning outside of work rate factor. Axel continues to made odd choices in the ring with his character; he's billed as an overconfident smug jerk but he tries to play a psychotically aggressive wrestler in the ring. The combination just doesn't work, especially when he actually has posts where he has to go and consult with Heyman.
This was a very easily skippable edition of Main Event. The first match was the best of the bunch, but it wasn't a match that you need to go out of your way to see.
