William J. Cassano, 40, of Brick Township, was driving along Route 70 when his Toyota 4Runner stalled in the center lane at around 8:45 p.m. While trying to move the SUV onto the state highway's shoulder, Cassano was struck by an Oldsmobile driven by William Cox, 23, of Freehold, NJ.com reports.
The force sent Cassano flying 30 feet toward the center of the road, but according to a witness report, Cassano got up and said he wasn't hurt.
