Drew Brees threw for 392 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Saints in a 49-17 drubbing of the Cowboys at the Superdome. Mark Ingram ran for 145 yards and a TD while Pierre Thomas added 87 yards and a score. Thomas also had a receiving touchdown while fellow running back Darren Sproles scored once on the ground and once through the air. The Saints recorded an NFL-record 40 first downs in the dominating triumph. Marques Colston had seven catches for 107 yards and a TD as New Orleans racked up 625 total yards and moved to 7-and-2. DeMarco Murray ran for 89 yards and a touchdown for Dallas, which managed just 193 total yards in defeat. Tony Romo threw for 128 yards and a touchdown to Terrance Williams. The 'Boys fell to 5-and-5, but still remains tied atop the NFC East with the Eagles.
