The NFL is doing away with pink penalty flags. Referees across the league used pink penalty flags on Sunday as the NFL celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Combined with pink elements on player uniforms, playing fields and even television graphics, it apparently made it too difficult for the home viewer to tell when a flag had been thrown. According to "USA Today," the NFL says yellow penalty flags will return this weekend.
