Former UFC heavyweight No. 1 contender Antonio Silva has his next opponent picked out. However, he currently resides in the light heavyweight division."Bigfoot" posted a message on Twitter shortly after Thiago Silva defeated Rafael Cavalcante Saturday night, saying he wanted to face him.
Antonio Silva made it known that "we have a debut to settle, he could accept me first fight at heavyweight." The recent contender walks around near the limit of 265 pounds, so cutting to 205 would be nearly impossible.
Thiago Silva has twice failed post-fight drug tests following recent wins. If his victory over Cavalcante holds up, it will be his first since 2009.
Antonio Silva previously trained with the Blackzilians in Florida, where Thiago Silva still remains.
