Former UFC heavyweight Cheick Kongo will not debut with Bellator MMA next week.
Instead, Kongo will face Mark Godbeer at Bellator 102 on October 4 from Visalia, California.
Kongo (18-8-2) left the UFC after going 11-6-1 with the promotion. Godbeer will also be debuting with the promotion that night.
Lavar Johnson, another ex-UFC heavyweight, is slated for action in the other heavyweight tournament semifinal.
