UFC president Dana White hinted that UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo could be headed to the lightweight division during an interview with Joe Rogan at UFC On FOX: Johnson Vs. Moraga Saturday night.Aldo will look to defend his title next Saturday night from Brazil when he faces Chan Sung Jung at UFC 163: Aldo Vs. Korean Zombie.
Previously, it had been reported that "Scarface" demanded a title shot at 155 pounds if he accepted a match with Anthony Pettis. However, an injury knocked Pettis out, and Aldo has said he isn't focusing on anything other than "The Korean Zombie" right now.
"He's intent to stay at 145," White said. "If he gets by 'The Zombie,' he might move up to 155, but who knows. Anderson Silva has stayed at 185 this whole time when we thought he could make a move to 205.
