Anderson Silva reigned as the UFC middleweight champion for close to 3,000 days. Now that he's tasted UFC defeat, welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre knows his days could be numbered."It seems like when you're champion for a long time it's the fans that demand something different," said St-Pierre during a media event. "As more fights happen, they put more pressure. It's hard sometimes mentally, even for me sometimes, it's hard because my life changed. You need to find a way to keep having fun, and even though the critics are there, you keep having fun at what you do."

St-Pierre has dominated the welterweight division as a two time champion. His first reign didn't prove much but the second one has. He's defended the belt a record eight consecutive times. He's also tied with Matt Hughes for most UFC wins with 18.

Johny Hendricks will try to stop St-Pierre's current streak. They meet at UFC 167 on November 16 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. It's being billed as the 20 year anniversary show.
