Johny Hendricks has been the No. 1 contender to the UFC welterweight title for some time now. And, since earning his "expected" title shot last year, he's went on to defeat Carlos Condit. Now, as the days continue to tick away, "Bigg Rigg" is just waiting to hear from UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and the UFC in regards to their match.
"Just give me a date, time and place," said Hendricks, during a recent interview on "UFC Tonight." "That's all I care about."
Hendricks has won six straight, including finishes of Martin Kampmann, Jon Fitch and TJ Waldburger. He's also defeated Josh Koscheck, Mike Pierce and Condit since a 2010 loss to Rick Story.
Reports have St-Pierre set to return in October, though, nothing has been confirmed by the UFC.
