Jon Jones has a challenge ahead of him in Alexander Gustafssson, but an eventual match up with the Strikeforce heavyweight GP champion, Daniel Cormier, is one the fans have wanted to see. Jones recently stated that his focus isn't on Cormier. The light-heavyweight superstar spoke with MMAHEAT recently and seemed annoyed when asked a question about a fight with Cormier.
"I hate answering questions about him, he's just not relevant to me. There's so many great fighters in the light-heavyweight division, he's not even top 5 in his division, he has like 20,000 twitter followers, he has short reach, bad cardio, he looked terrible in his last fight. I'm not worried about him at all."
Cormier had a dull UFC debut against former two-time heavyweight titleholder Frank Mir, he's since been matched up with another heavyweight, Roy Nelson, which is set to take place at UFC 166.
