When UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo agreed to face Anthony Pettis in August, he did so with the promise of a move to lightweight being offered to him. Now, as his match with Chan Sung Jung at UFC 163 gets closer, Aldo isn't thinking about such a change in weight classes at all.

"I want to focus on my fight, then we'll worry about a potential move," said Aldo, during a conference call. "I don't want to take too big of a step. I respect my opponent."

Jung, known as "The Korean Zombie," stepped in when an injury knocked Pettis out of the fight in Brazil. Aldo (22-1) hasn't lost since a 2005 submission defeat at the hands of Luciano Azevedo. The change in opponent caused no issues for the champion.

"I was already in the groove," he said. "I was prepared and I had to make a few adjustments, but I feel fine."

Since joining the UFC after the WEC was absorbed, "Scarface" has downed Mark Hominick, Kenny Florian, Chad Mendes and Frankie Edgar.
