If need be, Roy Nelson will be prepared to step in and face Junior dos Santos next Saturday night at UFC 160: Velasquez Vs. Bigfoot 2."Big Country" confirmed on Twitter Friday night that he has been approved for a fight license in Nevada. Nelson has been tabbed as a potential replacement for Mark Hunt if Hunt is unable to secure travel to the U.S. from New Zealand.
"NV commission approved, ready for fight capital of the world," Nelson wrote.
Nelson is coming off another finish, defeating Cheick Kongo late last month. He previously fought dos Santos, falling via decision in 2010.
