Earlier in the day, the UFC confirmed that Renan Barao-Eddie Wineland was off for June's UFC 161 event in Canada.Well, they have filled the slot with a heavyweight bout, as Roy Nelson will meet Stipe Miocic from the MTS Centre in Winnipeg. The bout was first reported by MMAjunkie.com.
Nelson (19-7) was viewed as a potential fill-in for Mark Hunt for Saturday's UFC 160: Velasquez Vs. Bigfoot 2 card, but Hunt was given his visa and will meet Junior dos Santos.
Miocic (9-1) has won three of his four UFC fights, but was defeated by Stefan Struve most recently.
