Tyron Woodley has a new multi-fight deal with the UFC, and his next opponent in mind.Despite pushing to fight on March's stacked welterweight card at UFC 158: St-Pierre Vs. Diaz, Woodley (11-1) was not given a fight. However, according to a report on UFC Tonight Tuesday, he is focusing in on facing Jake Shields later this year.
Shields recently announced his plans to return to welterweight after a fight at middleweight. He was suspended for a failed drug test, and is 27-6-1 in his career.
Woodley earned an impressive 36-second victory over Jay Hieron earlier this month in his UFC career. He offered to face Carlos Condit after Rory MacDonald was injured, but the UFC went with Johny Hendricks instead.
