Carlos Condit will get his chance at redemption come August 28 when he faces Martin Kampmann in the main event of UFC On FS1: Condit Vs. Kampmann 2. The event takes place from Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.Condit lost a split decision to Kampmann back in 2009. He went on to claim the interim UFC welterweight title, but has lost two in a row.
"Two of the top-ranked welterweights in the division will collide when former interim UFC champion Carlos Condit meets Martin Kampmann in Indianapolis," UFC President Dana White said. "Both of these guys love finishing fights, so this is gonna be a war!"
The card will also feature Donald Cerrone-Rafael dos Anjos, Sara McMann-Sarah Kaufmann and Kelvin Gastelum-Paulo Thiago.
