Yushin Okami was released by the UFC. He wasn’t alone as three others were sent packing. Other names which were axed include James Head, Papy Abedi and Ben Alloway.
Head had dropped his last two in the opening round. He was 3-2 for the UFC and last fought Jason High.
Abedi joined the UFC as a welterweight. He went 1-3 and took a knockout loss to Dylan Andrews in his middleweight return.
Ben Alloway suffered back-to-back defeats this year to Ryan LaFlare and Zak Cummings. Before the UFC, he spent time in Cage Warriors.
All three have been removed from the official UFC website.
