Vitor Belfort-Rashad Evans? Dana White Likes It

If Vitor Belfort wants to fight and not sit around waiting for a title shot at middleweight to open up,UFC president Dana White has an opponent in mind."Let's do him and Rashad (Evans) at (light heavyweight)," said White, during the UFC's World Tour stop in New York Wednesday. "He wants to fight at a heavier weight. I haven't heard back on that."

Belfort turned down a meeting with Tim Kennedy at 185 pounds, saying he would only risk his spot in the division for a title fight. The belt is currently tied up through December when Chris Weidman is scheduled to defend vs. Anderson Silva.

On a recent episode of "UFC Tonight," Chael Sonnen responded to being called out by Belfort, saying he would fight him in December, but only for the No. 1 contender spot.

"Vitor drives me crazy," White said. "Lorenzo (Fertitta) can deal with Vitor, not me."
