– TNA is taping several of their One Night Only PPV events this weekend. In regards to the women’s PPV, all the women asked to appear (that are not currently under a contract) have turned the company down.
They are also taping World Cup style tournaments, but word is that several of the names scheduled to appear from Mexico and Canada fell through because TNA didn’t start to work on getting working visas in time. Once they did start the paperwork, it was discovered that it would be too late in the process to get the talent in for the shows.
– Three matches have been announced for next Thursday’s iMPACT! Wrestling including two title bouts.
The World Tag Team Championship will be on the line as Bobby Roode and Austin Aries defend the staps against former champions Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez. Plus, Kenny King defends the X Division Champion against Zema Ion and the returning Sonjay Dutt, and Matt Morgan will face Joseph Park.
Also announced for the show is Knockouts executive Brooke Hogan making a ruling on referee Taryn Terrell’s future in TNA Wrestling after having attacked Gail Kim at Sunday’s Lockdown pay-per-view event and Thursday’s episode of Impact Wrestling.
