According To sources, local authorities received a 911 call at 10:33AM this morning from the Marriott Residence Inn near SouthPark saying they had found a body inside one of the rooms. The caller said the person was unresponsive.
Police responded to the hotel and homicide detectives arrived a short time later. The body was later identified as Reid.
We’re told that foul play is Not suspected. It is completely normal for homicide detectives to arrive on-scene when a body is found as it’s simply part of the investigation. The case does not appear to be criminal and murder has been ruled out.
There is no word on if drugs or alcohol were found in the room as of press time.
